School’s out for summer! Well, I mean, school is out until summer camp begins next week. But the official school year is officially over, which of course means that teachers get gifts! I (foolishly?) volunteered to wrangle up the collaborative end-of year presents we give teachers at our school, for my son’s classroom. Everyone donates money or goods or something, plus a drawing/painting from each kid for a memory book, and I put it all together into a nice package. Boy, that was a lot more work than I anticipated. End of year is stressful already, so I’m pretty sure I won’t be helping with this volunteer job again. But! I like the way the baskets and memory books came out.
Full circle bonus: that’s a jar of my strawberry freezer jam in there. 😉
