I mean, we ate it. But the apples were mush, the crust (store-bought) was bleh, and I used too coarse a grind of corn meal in the streusel. Ah well, they can’t all be winners.

He was asleep
but not so asleep that using a flash to take his picture didn’t make him squint. I was lucky and I didn’t wake him up. I don’t usually take pictures of the kids sleeping but it occurred to me at that moment that my baby boy is getting so big! Yay and also quiet sob.
