Weekday huevos rancheros
One corn tortillas, wilted spinach or kale, two fried eggs, salsa, and a light sprinkling of shredded cheese. I’m really enjoying starting my day with this breakfast lately! The kids are really into yogurt. 🙂

Chicken tortilla soup
I made a fabulous batch of chicken tortilla soup today! Luckily I made extra to freeze, so we’ll get to enjoy it again. The kids loved it, times eleventy-thousand — they even enjoyed putting avocado in (my favorite). It was so good that Amelia let me capture her compliments on video. 😉
Fall festival
We went to my niece’s school’s fall festival this morning and had a rad time!
It’s glowing!
Watching the sunrise with Baxter, we had the amazing realization that the sun is just one big glow-in-the-dark ball that lights up our whole world. Pretty exciting for a kid who loves all things that glow.
