Can’t wait to try these wines from Trader Joes
I’ve tried the Espiral Rosé already and love it, but Picpoul and Muscadet Sèvre et Maine are two wines that I typically have to spend a fair amount of money to drink these days, so I’m very interested to try TJ’s under-$10 offerings of both. I’ll keep you posted!
Not sulky; on a call
Normally I say no imaginary cell phone calls at breakfast, but our cousin left her stuffed panda with us last night for an extended visit, so Amelia had to call the stuffed animal school to let them know that Panda would be joining them this morning. Serious business indeed. 
All ready for the Doll Ball
They were supposed to dress up their dolls, but they started decorating themselves instead. The “Doll Ball” idea is all theirs, as is this pose: Baxter is sitting on Amelia’s knee. 
Rode my bike to the farmers market
Riding uphill all the way home with 15lbs of fruit and veggies in your saddlebags isn’t so easy. But it’s healthful! 
Brushing Elsa’s hair
Bax finally found his beloved Elsa doll, who wins the contest for most ratty hair. He optimistically thinks that his uncle Jason, aunt April, aunt Adrinne, and cousin Daphne will be very impressed with the results of his brushing.
Dutch baby with sautéed apples
Tom made the Dutch baby and I made the apples. Happy Sunday!
Pre-planning for Halloween
The kids recently realized that Halloween is only 3 months away, and so Baxter is exploring costume options. This is a front-runner. 
Cute stuff Baxter says
Baxter at breakfast: “Mom, my brain says, ‘Baxter, Baxter! Drink this milk because it’s good for you.'”
Baxter, pouty: “Mama, nothing is the way I want it to be.”
Me: “Baxter, it’s going to be really hot today so I’d like you to wear a tank top.”
Baxter: “I don’t want to wear a tank top, so I won’t wear a shirt at all!”
Breaking: Daddy’s new drone causes uncontrolled giggles
“I am a robot that just eats noodles.”
All the lonely people
Mama, I will look for you if you are lonely, ok?
If I’m lonely you’ll look for me with your binoculars?
Yes, anyone with bi-nah-clee-ars can look for people who are lonely, so I will look for you.
